Job Description

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat hematological disorders, including malignant and non-malignant blood diseases.
• Perform and interpret specialized hematology tests, including bone marrow biopsies and blood smears.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies.
• Provide blood transfusion services and manage patients with bleeding and clotting disorders.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust plans as necessary.
• Counsel patients and families regarding disease prognosis, treatment options, and lifestyle adjustments.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate medical records in compliance with hospital policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD) or equivalent.
• Specialization in Hematology Board Certified or equivalent recognized
• Valid medical license to practice.
• Additional training in subspecialties (e.g., pediatric hematology, transfusion medicine) is a plus.
