We’re looking for a Senior Energy Engineer to lead the design and optimization of power systems for telecom infrastructure. This role focuses on developing efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy solutions, with a strong emphasis on renewable integration and system performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate across teams to drive innovation and enhance existing power architectures.
Responsibilities
Design and develop advanced power systems tailored for telecom infrastructure.
Create innovative energy strategies focused on efficiency, reliability, and sustainability.
Conduct detailed simulations and modelling of power solutions using industry-standard tools.
Analyse existing energy systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Integrate renewable energy components into hybrid power architectures.
Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to enhance and refine power system designs.
Ensure solutions align with project goals, regulatory standards, and technical requirements.
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in telecom and energy sectors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecom and/or energy sector, with a focus on power system engineering.
Proven expertise in designing and optimizing hybrid power systems, especially those incorporating renewable energy sources.
Hands-on experience in conducting telecom site energy audits, system performance evaluations, and energy efficiency assessments.
Skills
In-depth knowledge of telecom power infrastructure and sustainable energy technologies.
Proficiency in energy modeling and simulation tools such as HOMER Pro, ETAP, and PVSyst.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with attention to detail.
Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to collaborate in cross-functional and multidisciplinary teams.
