We’re looking for a data-driven and customer-obsessed Product-Led Growth (PLG) Product Manager to join our team. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives focused on driving user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. As a PLG PM, you will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and customer success to iterate on product features that increase user retention and lifetime value


The ideal candidate will have experience building customer focused engineering teams and with enterprise billing systems. They should have previously proven success as the leader of dynamic, passionate teams that love to code and build highly scalable mission critical backend services while still being able to deliver important new initiatives that move Zendesk forward as a whole.


What you get to do every day:


  • Drive Product-Led Growth: Own the strategy and roadmap for product-led growth initiatives, focusing on user acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, and monetization.


  • Optimize User Journeys: Continuously improve the end-to-end user experience, identifying friction points and opportunities for self-service activation.


  • Run Experiments: Design and implement A/B tests, multivariate tests, and other experimentation frameworks to improve conversion metrics and overall product adoption.


  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze user data to identify growth opportunities, optimize the user funnel, and measure the success of product initiatives.


  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to align product features and marketing efforts with growth objectives.


  • PLG Metrics & KPIs: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for product adoption and growth


What you'll bring to the role:


  • Proven experience driving PLG strategies, especially in SaaS, consumer products, or B2B products.


  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions and measure success.


  • Deep understanding of product funnels, customer acquisition channels, onboarding processes, and user retention strategies.


  • Comfort working with technical teams and understanding the product architecture, APIs, and integrations.


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across engineering, marketing, and customer success teams.


  • Comfortable working with a global team across different timezones with key partners located in the US

Zendesk is in the exciting early stages of establishing a Product Development Center of Excellence in Pune. As an early hire, you will have a unique opportunity to be a pivotal part of this journey. You’ll play a key role in shaping the culture, processes, and success of our Pune site, contributing directly to the growth and maturity of our Product Development Center of Excellence. Your expertise and insights will help lay the foundation for a world-class development center, influencing the way we build and deliver products at Zendesk.

Hybrid: In this role, our hybrid experience is designed at the team level to give you a rich onsite experience packed with connection, collaboration, learning, and celebration - while also giving you flexibility to work remotely for part of the week. This role must attend our local office for part of the week. The specific in-office schedule is to be determined by the hiring manager.
