Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Coder located in Musaffah. The Medical Coder will be responsible for coding medical procedures and diagnoses according to established standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing patient records, assigning appropriate medical codes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify information. The Medical Coder will also maintain coding databases and participate in audits as required.
Qualifications

• Experience in Medical Coding and familiarity with Medical Terminology
• Relevant Coding Experience and knowledge of coding guidelines and standards
• Certification as a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) and expertise in Health Information Management
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff
• Experience in healthcare industry is a plus
• Relevant certifications or degrees related to medical coding or health information management are preferred
