Job opening for System Engineer in a IT System Integrator company based in Dubai, UAE.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and technical assistance for integrated systems, including hardware, software, and network components.
• System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their technical issues and provide effective solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of system configurations, issues, and resolutions as well logs of customer interactions.
• Installation and Configuration: Assist in the setup and configuration of new systems and technologies.
• Training: Provide training to clients or internal teams on system usage and best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales and engineering, to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
• System Integration: Ensuring that all components of a system work together seamlessly within the project scope.
• Quality Assurance: Monitoring and verifying that the system meets both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Planning and Coordination: Developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation to meet technical and business goals.

Qualifications;

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Computer science specilized in networking and security.
• Certifications;

o  CompTIA Network+,

o  Fortinet Certified Professional Network Security

o  CCNP

o  PMP or ITIL

o  Preferred to have WCNA, Microsoft.

• Experience with system monitoring tools (NMS).
• Strong knowledge and experience in VoIP (expecting deep experience at least two PABX platforms and eager to learn new PABX platforms) [NEC, CISCO, AVAYA, 3CX, Yeaster, Grandstream]
• Stong experiance on devices Firewalls/switch/Access point  from brands such as  Fortinet, Sophos, Sonicwall, CISCO, HP, Aruba, Draytek, TPLINK, Rujie, EnGenius
• Added advantage of knowledge on;

o  Security system such CCTV, access controll system

o  Speaker systems

o  Video system projector, video wall, media players.

o  Video conference system

Note: Shortlisted candidates will be having first round Interview then practical exams and final round Interview to proceed to select suitable candidate.
