The Outpatient Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient dispensing of medications while providing exceptional customer service to patients. This role demands expertise in outpatient pharmacy operations, a strong understanding of insurance processes in Abu Dhabi, and the ability to manage high prescription volumes. The pharmacist must maintain strict compliance with regulatory standards and demonstrate resilience, compassion, and adaptability in a dynamic healthcare environment.Responsibilities:Dispense a high volume of prescriptions daily (minimum 80 prescriptions) with zero errors.Manage and dispense controlled medicines and biologics in compliance with DoH regulations.Handle prescriptions while collaborating with major insurance companies in Abu Dhabi, ensuring seamless approvals and patient care.Deliver exceptional customer service, including addressing patientconcerns with compassion and professionalism.Work efficiently across shifts (morning, evening, night, and twilight).Requirements:– Proven ability to handle controlled medicines, biologics, and prescriptions for various insurance providers.– Experience with EMR systems such as TrakCare.– Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.License: Valid DoH license to practice as a Pharmacist in Abu Dhabi.
