Incoming Quality Engineer/ 6 days ago

The Quality Engineer is expected to adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
• The Quality Engineer is expected to report any unsafe condition or absence of any protective device immediately to their supervisor/Manager/Cell leader
• Ensuring incoming inspection of all items as per the defined work instructions/standards within the target time.
• Ensuring PPAP availability in GSD system for part numbers supplied by Allied Aptiv suppliers
• Responsible for PPAP submissions as per customer requirements for applicable resale parts.
• Ensuring the compliance of customer specific requirements.
• Review of QC cage NC items, value and disposition of NC parts within the target timelines
• Monitoring the performance of Aptiv Allied suppliers as per customer specific requirements.
Provide trainings to incoming inspectors on product quality requirements and documents like control plan, inspection checklists, work instruction, acceptance criteria (Visual standards), SPC, lessons learnt from previous incoming parts related quality issues and customer complaints.
• Conducts statistical analysis, prepares reports and records for child parts as per customer specific requirements.
• Preparation of MSA reports.
• Support CS engineer and CFT to identify the corrective/preventive actions for customer complaints related to suppliers.
• Deviation request incase of non-conformance in product/process
