Job Overview:
The role is responsible to oversee activities aimed at reducing variability in clinical practice and assists with the development and standardization of clinical pathways, protocols, and clinical practice guidelines across M42 facilities. The role leads clinical audit activities by facilitating system-wide improvement in the overall quality, completeness, and accuracy of the medical record documentation through extensive audit, data analysis, dissemination of audit findings or reports and education within all clinical service lines. The role monitors physician practice standards, billing conduct and ensures zero tolerance for unethical practice and conduct of care. The role will support all members of the M42 Group.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical audits to ensure compliance with best practices, regulatory standards, and documentation quality.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare leaders to improve care pathways and streamline processes.
- Support value-based care by identifying opportunities to enhance quality, reduce variation, and optimize patient outcomes.
- Participate in developing and embedding evidence-based clinical guidelines across our facilities.
- Contribute to accreditation readiness by validating data, improving documentation, and driving practice improvements.
- Educate and support clinical teams to adopt high standards of documentation and care delivery.
- Play a vital role in key projects that enhance clinical effectiveness, improve compliance, and support strategic quality goals.
Qualifications
- Medical Doctor OR Bachelor’s degree in nursing science, or relevant clinical field
- 3+ years’ physician, nursing, case management, or utilization review experience in an acute care setting
- 3-5 years’ experience with guideline development and demonstrated clinical audit completion
