Mission of the Job: Lead data centers planning design for certified uptime data centers and supervise all installations to ensure all installations according to uptime standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and supervise plan for new data centers within the region according to uptime standards
- Act as a service provider to Network Engineering, IT, & B2B departments, and collect their nationwide forecast of new racks inside the data centers as per uptime standards
- Manage Data Center Design and planning teams to find the optimal way to scale the infrastructure as per uptime standards
- Support capacity planning process for various services/products and define tactical plans on the datacenter layout, cluster planning, power management to support the capacity need for various services/products.
- Manage teams for the network, power, rack position, consumption in the data centers and pre-actively identify issues and solve them. Also plan the resources needed for future capacity growth.
- Audit of all Data Center positions, and partnering with regional teams to remediate any discovered defects and ensure to enhance as per uptime standards
- Provide consultancy and technical Support within the region for data center power activities
- Put efficient solutions to enhance infra structure network efficiency as per uptime standards enhancing PUE within data centers
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- More than10 years of experience in Telecom industry, with extensive experience in various site solutions, Electromechanical Design & dimensioning. For data centers
- Familiar with various Electromechanically Standards in international Telecom Operators, Data Centers, Generators, Power Stations, DCPS, etc..
ATD (Accredited Tier Designer) Certificated
CDCP (Certified Data Center Professional)
CDCS (Certified Data Center Specialist)
Language skills (Arabic and/or English)
Computer skills (MS Office, Email Correspondences, AutoCAD)
