
Job Description
Requirements
- Diagnose internal injuries and diseases, prescribing medication or surgery as appropriate
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
- Evaluate patient records, tests, and examinations to determine the necessity of surgical intervention
- Conduct pre-operative examinations, explain procedures, and discuss associated risks
- Determine the appropriate surgical approach, coordinating with nurses, anesthesiologists, specialists, and other professionals
- Prescribe antibiotics, special diets, sedatives, and other medications for pre- and post-operative care
- Plan and schedule operations, organize surgical teams, and ensure the availability of required instruments and supplies
- Perform surgical procedures in accordance with established methods and standards
- Maintain and update comprehensive patient records
- Collaborate with and provide support to other medical professionals
- Refer patients to specialists and other healthcare providers when necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
- Medical specialization degree in General Surgery
- Completion of a minimum 5-year residency in general surgery
- Proven and stable experience in patient care and surgical practice
- Valid license to practice in the designated country
- Ability to pass all requisite background checks
